Brewery Bhavana: Photography
My time at Brewery Bhavana has offered many opportunities to expand my photography portfolio, especially when it comes to product photography. Selected shots from this experience and relevant notes can be seen below!

It’s pretty easy to get gorgeous shots of a space as aesthetic and naturally lit as this place.

Action at the brewery has always been one of my favorite things to shoot. Our facilities are not open to the public, so offering this behind-the-scenes content gives potential customers a better feel for the business beyond the product.

While I am permitted to take photos whenever and of whoever, the restaurant’s open space makes it challenging to capture shots of guests without being completely obvious. Tucking around curtains like I did for this shot allowed me to capture the mood each diner gets to enjoy.

Coming into this role, I had no experience with product photography, specifically. Learning to play with textures like the linen here to add visual depth has been super fun and a great creative challenge!

Brewery Bhavana is known for its beautifully minimal aesthetics. I definitely took advantage of how the simple granite of the bar and shop offer easy and elegant backdrops for product shots.

In a restaurant with a lot of neutrals, bringing some color in was important!

The lack of changes to the food menu has pushed me to get creative on how to present the same product in fresh ways.

I try my best to incorporate media that highlights the people behind the business either directly or indirectly as that puts a face to the brand and makes it more personal to our audience.
